This Privacy Policy explains how Origin Finds, operated by Fothz, collects and uses information when you visit https://app.fothz.com or when an authorized operator connects a TikTok or YouTube account to Origin Finds.

Information Collected From Visitors

When you browse public Origin Finds pages we record basic technical events: page views, affiliate link clicks, the referring page, browser user agent and a hashed IP address. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

Origin Finds may also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, product page engagement, searches, category clicks, social clicks and affiliate link clicks. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser for measurement purposes.

Information Collected Through TikTok

When an authorized operator connects a TikTok account using TikTok Login, Origin Finds requests the user.info.basic scope to read the account's open id, display name and avatar, and the video.upload scope (Content Posting API) to upload videos to that TikTok account as a draft or direct post. Origin Finds stores the TikTok access token, refresh token, token expiration and the basic profile fields listed above only for the connected operator account, solely to publish content on that account's behalf.

Information Collected Through YouTube

Where an operator connects YouTube, Origin Finds similarly stores OAuth tokens and channel identifiers needed to upload videos and, if authorized, read basic channel analytics.

How We Use Information

We use collected data to operate Origin Finds, publish content to connected accounts on the operator's behalf, measure page and affiliate performance, and diagnose technical issues.

Data Retention and Revocation

TikTok and YouTube tokens are kept only while an account stays connected. An authorized operator can disconnect a TikTok or YouTube account at any time from the Origin Finds Channels screen; this immediately stops further publishing and removes the stored tokens for that account.

Third Parties

Retailers, affiliate networks, TikTok and YouTube may process data under their own privacy policies once you interact with their services from Origin Finds.

Children's Privacy

Origin Finds is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your Rights

You can request access to or deletion of data associated with a connected TikTok or YouTube account by contacting us below or by disconnecting the account directly from TikTok's or YouTube's own account settings.

Changes to This Policy

Fothz may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
